The Eikon 5K will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017, at 9:00 a.m. On- site registration and packet pickup will be open from 8:00-8:30 a.m. The race will begin and end at Plainfield North High School (12005 S 248th Street, Plainfield, IL 60585). Participants will proceed north on 248th Street and onto the walking path of Commissioner’s Park. They will then proceed south on 248th Street and back to Plainfield North High School. Motor traffic will be closed for the race and streets will be managed by the Plainfield Police Department. This fairly flat, scenic course is USATF certified: #IL-10133-JW.

The race will be chip timed. A timing chip will be issued to the first 500 participants.
Parking will be available at Plainfield North High School. Please park in the west parking lot near the school’s marquee sign. Please do NOT park near the tennis courts.
Dogs, skates, skateboards, bicycles, scooters or regular strollers will NOT be allowed into this event. However, running strollers WILL be allowed in the race. Walkers are encouraged to participate in the race.
Printed results will be provided at the completion of the race. Electronic reports will be available at www.eikon5K.org.
Prizes will be awarded to participants in various age categories; raffle prizes will also be available to participants of all ages.
